We can help you deploy your network. We have experience of planning the gateways, expected coverage, considering resilience and continuity options. Contact us to find out more about our planning services.
At SenseAbility we are open to exploring the most appropriate sensors for you. Most of the sensors that we have experience of use a method of communication called LoRaWAN. It stands for Long Range Wide Area Network. It provides excellent coverage, completely covering buildings and areas of land. 8 kilometres / 5 miles is achievable in rural areas. In built up areas, a couple of kilometres / one and half miles or so.
You may have heard about the Internet of Things or IoT - and LoRaWAN based sensors are part of the IoT offering.
Lots of signal coverage is provided, for free, due to significant public sector investment. Should there be areas with lack of coverage, an additional gateway can be purchased to ensure your sensors can send the data when and where they need to.

Monitor more than you might think!
You can either refer to the data to detect patterns or when something untoward happens, be notified.
The above are only examples, you may think of more that are applicable to your industry or situation. Do get in touch if you can think of a use case, we can help you!
Nodes can have multiple sensors
The above node has multiple sensors within it. It can detect temperature, humidity, light and motion! The batteries within it can last years.
